Cura Health is seeking a Cook to join our skilled nursing home team. In this vital role, you will prepare and cook nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met with care and attention. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and meal plans for nursing home residents.
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets quality standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and accommodate special diets as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Collaborate with dietary and nursing staff to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen operations.
  • Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special diets typical in nursing home settings.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • HOURS of shift are 10:30am-7pm
