Control Tower Specialist (AUS - Kemps Creek, 1 Cuprum Close)

DSV Solutions is seeking a skilled and passionate Control Tower Specialist to manage shipments from liaising with customers and suppliers to arranging transport, documentation and invoicing. The role ensures compliance with company and regulatory requirements to maintain operational efficiency.

Typical responsibilities

• Collaborate within the Cloud Services Centre of Excellence to deliver accurate, high-quality work in line with SOPs, management directives, and customer requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and service providers locally and internationally.
• Plan, prioritise, and manage end to end transport and shipment activities using CW1 and legacy systems to meet KPIs, milestones, and delivery deadlines.
• Read, interpret, and act on operational instructions, while proactively resolving issues related to documentation, cost calculations, load sizing, and operations.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with customers, team members, and external stakeholders-including airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers-to resolve issues and obtain required information.
• Support the Team Lead with day to day operations, contribute to process improvements, and assist with additional tasks or projects as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, delivery operations, and warehouse coordination - preferably in high tech or sensitive commodities.
• Strong understanding of QHSE standards and compliance frameworks.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the logistics industry.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• General WHS awareness of legislative and company requirements.
