Mechanical Project Manager

A leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor specialising in aviation projects is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their team at Heathrow Airport.

This is an ongoing opportunity for the right individual, delivering a range of infrastructure, refurbishment, and terminal upgrade projects valued between £10,000 and £5 million.Working closely with both operational and commercial teams, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial enquiry through to final account settlement, ensuring successful delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards.<br />Key Responsibilities Manage enquiries and project opportunities from the Main Contractor.<br />Work alongside the Quantity Surveyor to price and tender projects.<br />Assist with the preparation and presentation of project proposals and cost submissions.<br />Oversee the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion.<br />Manage programme performance, client expectations, and site operations.<br />Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.<br />Support the commercial team in agreeing and settling final accounts.<br />Ensure all works are delivered safely and in accordance with Heathrow Airport and company procedures.Requirements Valid CSCS Management Card.<br />SMSTS qualification.<br />Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<br />Proven experience delivering mechanical building services projects within a live airport, infrastructure, or commercial environment.<br />Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and project management skills.<br />Ability to obtain and maintain Heathrow Airport security clearance.
