Duration: 6+ Months

Job Summary

We are seeking a DevOps / Integration Engineer (IAM-Adjacent) to design, build, and maintain automation and integration solutions that support identity lifecycle management and workforce systems connectivity. This role focuses on developing identity-as-code solutions, CI/CD pipelines, API-based integrations, and onboarding/offboarding automation while partnering closely with Identity and Access Management (IAM) teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Terraform, Okta integrations, API development, and DevOps practices. This position operates within a controlled engineering model where changes are developed in scoped repositories and non-production environments, submitted through pull requests, and reviewed and approved by designated platform owners. The role does not require standing administrative access to Okta production environments.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting identity-as-code initiatives.

·       Build and manage Terraform-based configurations for Okta and related identity services.

·       Develop, test, and support API integrations between enterprise platforms such as ADP and Okta.

·       Create automation workflows for employee onboarding, offboarding, and identity lifecycle processes.

·       Design and support integration layers for platforms such as Console.ai and other enterprise applications.

·       Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices to improve consistency, reliability, and deployment speed.

·       Develop reusable automation modules, scripts, and templates to streamline operational processes.

·       Collaborate with IAM, HRIS, Security, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver integration solutions.

·       Participate in code reviews, pull request processes, and release management activities.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, automation workflows, and deployment pipelines.

·       Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

·       Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and governance requirements.

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

·       3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Integration Engineering, or related roles.

·       Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

·       Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.

·       Experience developing and supporting REST APIs and system integrations.

·       Knowledge of identity lifecycle management concepts, including joiner, mover, and leaver processes.

·       Experience working with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and source control systems.

·       Strong scripting and automation skills using tools such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.

·       Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
