Kurdish-English Translator and Interpreter

Leidos is seeking a Kurdish Linguist to support mission-critical IT and national security programs. In this role, you will perform high-accuracy translation, transcription, and interpretation between Kurdish and English, ensuring precise meaning, tone, and cultural context. You will analyze and summarize technical and operational documents, support digital workflows and language tools, and maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols. Working with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute linguistic insight to data, analytics, and cyber projects, helping clients make informed decisions in fast-paced, high-impact environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate, transcribe, and interpret between Kurdish and English with high accuracy
• Apply cultural and regional knowledge to ensure contextually correct language output
• Review, edit, and quality-check translated and transcribed materials
• Summarize and analyze technical and operational documents for mission partners
• Support digital workflows, CAT tools, and basic data or document management systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IT, cyber, and analytics projects
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with security and data-protection protocols
• Produce timely deliverables in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
