Stag Elevators combines innovative design, safety, and user experience to deliver high-quality home lift solutions.
Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and residential customers, and expanding Stag Elevators' presence in the home lifts market. Daily activities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in line with company policies. The manager collaborates closely with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate solution design, timely installations, and high customer satisfaction. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and support long-term growth.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and account relationship building.
- Experience in solution selling, particularly in construction, real estate, elevators, or related engineering products.
- Ability to understand technical product features (e.g., hydraulic systems, gearless drives, AI-enabled safety features) and communicate benefits clearly to clients.
- Proficiency in negotiation, contract closing, and basic commercial analysis (pricing, margins, and profitability).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and influence decisions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on meeting targets and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital channels for prospecting and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in business development or sales (typically 5-10years) in B2C or premium home solutions markets.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client visits, site inspections, and industry events.
