Sr Integration Platform Engineer

Stand8 is currently seeking a Sr Integration Platform Engineer to support an enterprise Integration Platform across IICS/IDMC, Informatica MFT, Control-M, APIs, SFTP/file transfers, SQL, monitoring, and production support. This senior hands-on engineer will design, develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and support integration and file-transfer workflows while contributing to platform reliability and modernization efforts. The role will work closely with the Lead Platform Engineer and onshore/offshore team members, coordinating effectively with application, infrastructure, operations, database, and vendor teams. The position requires strong technical depth, independent problem-solving, production support experience, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Engineering

• Design, develop, enhance, and support IICS/IDMC integrations, including:
  
  
  
  • Cloud Application Integration (CAI)
  
  
  • Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
  
  
  • APIs, processes, mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, connectors, and schedules
  
  
  
  


• Configure and support Informatica MFT, including SFTP workflows, scheduling, monitoring, notifications, archive/error handling, and reprocessing.


• Develop and support Control-M jobs, schedules, dependencies, monitoring, reruns, and troubleshooting.


• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, data validations, and reconciliation processes.


• Implement appropriate logging, exception handling, retries, alerts, and operational monitoring.

Production Support & Reliability

• Provide senior-level production support across IICS, MFT, and Control-M.


• Monitor integration and file-transfer health and investigate failed or delayed processes.


• Troubleshoot application, data, connectivity, authentication, scheduling, configuration, and platform issues.


• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.


• Support incident resolution and coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, operations, and vendor teams as needed.


• Improve monitoring, alerting, operational dashboards, and support procedures.

Deployment & Release Support

• Support deployments across DEV, SIT, Stage/UAT, and Production.


• Validate environment-specific configurations, connections, parameters, schedules, and file paths.


• Perform smoke testing and post-deployment validation.


• Maintain deployment procedures, rollback instructions, and supporting documentation.


• Support platform upgrades, Secure Agent changes, connector changes, and maintenance activities.

Control-M / MFT Modernization

• Support the planned Control-M-to-MFT migration.


• Analyze existing Control-M jobs, schedules, dependencies, file-transfer processes, notifications, and recovery procedures.


• Configure and test corresponding MFT solutions.


• Support migration testing, reconciliation, cutover, and post-production validation.


• Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize file-transfer and workload-orchestration processes.

Documentation & Team Coverage

• Maintain technical designs, interface inventories, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and deployment documentation.


• Participate in technical reviews and provide recommendations to the Lead Engineer.


• Cross-train with onshore and offshore team members across IICS, MFT, and Control-M.


• Ensure critical platform knowledge is shared across the team and does not depend on a single resource.


• Mentor and provide technical guidance to offshore engineers when needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC:

• Experience configuring and supporting Informatica MFT, including SFTP workflows, scheduling, monitoring, notifications, archive/error handling, and reprocessing.


• Experience developing and supporting Control-M jobs, schedules, dependencies, monitoring, reruns, and troubleshooting.


• Experience developing and troubleshooting SQL queries, stored procedures, data validations, and reconciliation processes.


• Experience providing senior-level production support across IICS, MFT, and Control-M.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and provide technical thought leadership.

Preferred (Optional):

• Experience supporting Control-M-to-MFT migration initiatives.


• Experience supporting deployments across DEV, SIT, Stage/UAT, and Production.


• Experience with Informatica Secure Agent changes, connector changes, platform upgrades, and maintenance activities.


• Experience maintaining technical designs, interface inventories, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and deployment documentation.


• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to offshore engineers.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $80 - $90 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
