DevOps Engineer / Cloud DevOps

Job Title: DevOps Engineer / Cloud DevOps Salary: £45,000-£60,000 - open to discussions based on experience Location: Belfast Contract: Permanent, full-time Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard operational hours (hybrid working) We're working with an organisation in Belfast that is looking to strengthen their DevOps team. You'll be working across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD and modern software delivery, with the chance to contribute to the improvement and scalability of development and operational environments. What You'll be Doing Designing, maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing and deployment. Managing and supporting cloud infrastructure, particularly within Azure or AWS environments. Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or similar. Automating operational processes using PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar scripting languages. Monitoring system performance, availability and reliability, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Working closely with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues and improve deployment processes. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BSc/BEng) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computing or a related field of study Commercial experience working within a DevOps, Cloud, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering environment. Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms. Why choose VANRATH?
