License & Title Clerk / Automotive Biller

Berman Auto Group is expanding our corporate office team and is looking for a detail-oriented License & Title Clerk / Biller to join us. This role is essential to keeping our dealership operations running smoothly by ensuring vehicle deals are processed accurately and all title and registration paperwork is completed in full compliance with state requirements.

Location: Niles
Training Location: Oak Lawn, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 
Pay: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

• Process and bill retail, lease, and wholesale vehicle deals
• Review deal jackets for accuracy and completeness
• Post vehicle sales, trade-ins, warranties, and aftermarket products
• Prepare and submit title and registration paperwork
• Handle title transfers, lien recordings, and duplicate titles
• Track and follow up on title work to ensure timely completion
• Resolve discrepancies with lenders, customers, and state agencies
• Maintain organized and accurate records
• Support internal audits and month-end accounting tasks
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting teams
• Communicate missing or incorrect documentation to the appropriate parties

Qualifications

• Dealership experience, required
• Automotive billing experience
• License and Title experience
• Comfortable processing out of state titles and have a process confirming registration
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working individually and/or on a team
• Computer literacy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deals and meet deadlines
