Field Training Officer

Securitas seeks a Field Training Officer to coach and develop security officers in the field. In this role, you will model best practices in patrol, access control, incident response, and report writing while delivering on-the-job training and evaluations. You will ensure officers understand post orders, safety procedures, and client expectations, providing feedback and corrective guidance as needed. The FTO partners with site leadership to improve performance, support new hire onboarding, and promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service across assigned client sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured field and on-the-job training for new and existing security officers
• Model and reinforce best practices in patrol, access control, incident response, and customer service
• Evaluate officer performance and provide clear feedback, coaching, and corrective guidance
• Ensure officers understand and follow post orders, safety protocols, and client-specific procedures
• Document training, performance observations, and incident reports accurately and on time
• Coordinate with site supervisors and management on training needs and improvement plans
• Support onboarding and orientation of new hires at assigned client sites
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, integrity, and vigilance in daily operations
