Job Description

About Veho

Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.

We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.

Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.

To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Facilities team, you will build the systems and applications that power Veho's Ground Operations, with a particular focus on the mobile tools our warehouse teams use on the floor every day. This is a true full-stack role: you'll work across React Native, backend services, and web, and you'll be the engineer the team leans on when a problem lives on the device, whether that's a scanner integration, offline behavior, or performance on rugged hardware.

You will contribute to the architecture and development of key initiatives including:

  • Facilities Mobile App (FMA) with Directed Workflows

  • Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Your work will directly impact Ground Operations Associates, Supervisors, and Operations Managers who rely on these systems to move packages efficiently and accurately. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Data teams to deliver reliable tools that scale with Veho's rapid growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy features end to end, from React Native screens through the APIs and services behind them

  • Own the technical direction of our mobile surfaces, including native modules, device and hardware integrations, release process, and app performance

  • Integrate with scanners, printers, and other 3rd-party hardware and SDKs used in our facilities

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design for complex, distributed systems

  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code in high-traffic production environments

  • Participate in and lead thoughtful peer code reviews to raise engineering standards across mobile, backend, and web

  • Partner with Operations stakeholders to deeply understand warehouse workflows, including time on the floor, and translate them into elegant technical solutions

  • Improve system observability, monitoring, and reliability, especially for issues that only show up on devices in the field

  • Mentor engineers and help grow mobile expertise across the team

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience building, testing, and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments

  • Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React, with comparable depth on both frontend and backend

  • Deep, hands-on experience with React Native and Android in production

  • Experience developing custom React Native native modules

  • Experience integrating with 3rd-party hardware and SDKs (e.g. barcode scanners, label printers, rugged handheld devices)

  • Experience designing and consuming APIs and working within distributed systems

  • Experience working in AWS or similar cloud environments

  • Experience in the Supply Chain or logistics domain preferred, with a strong preference for building software for warehouse or operations users

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and systems thinking skills, including on-device debugging

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to move quickly and ship iteratively

  • Enthusiasm for collaborating closely with Product and Operations teams to solve complex, real-world operational challenges

  • Tech Stack: AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, React, React Native

Veho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it. No matter the location, or the role, every Veho teammate shares one galvanizing mission: driving commerce forward with a customer-centric delivery experience that's built for the modern era. We live by our leadership principles. We're looking for team members who are: obsessed over the customer, first-principles thinkers, builders at heart, intrinsically driven to win, and owners biased toward action.

Join us in building the future of ecommerce logistics and in doing the work of our lifetime!
