This is an immediate hire opportunity for a critical role within their operations. The Role • Operate specialized equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks. • Perform daily pre- and post-use inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. • Safely stack, move, and organize containers within the intermodal yard. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily tasks and container movements. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is strictly required. • Prior experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50lbs. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail. • Availability for 2nd or 3rd shift work, with scheduling determined by union seniority. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
