Job Description

Senior Quality Engineer – SharkNinja

Location: Needham, MA

Work Model: Onsite 4 days/week + 1 day Remote

Duration: 6–12+ Months | Contract-to-Hire Preferred

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: $55/hr on C2C

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of Quality Engineering / Product Quality experience
  • Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Product Development, Human Factors Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong experience with hardware products and hardware + software systems.
  • Background in Robotics, Consumer Electronics, Automation, IoT/Connected Devices, or Warehouse Automation strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, CAPA, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Experience analyzing customer complaints, field failures, product returns, warranty claims, and quality data.
  • Experience with DFMEA, Design Reviews, Design Verification & Validation (DV/VV).
  • Experience reviewing Engineering Changes (ECN) and assessing their impact on product quality.
  • Hands-on experience with product testing, hardware evaluation, lab activities, and product teardowns is highly preferred.
  • Ability to translate customer/field feedback into actionable engineering and product improvements.
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Excellence, and Product teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SharePoint is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working onsite in Needham, MA 4 days per week.
