Automotive Assembly Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Sterling Heights, MI — near 18 Mile Rd. & Van Dyke Ave.
Starting Pay: $15.50/hour
Pay Increase: $17.00/hour after 90 days
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Weekends & Overtime: As needed based on production requirements

Position Overview

We are hiring Assembly Operators to join a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals looking to build experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.

As an Assembly Operator, you will work as part of a production team assembling automotive components while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive components according to work instructions and specifications
• Operate basic production equipment and hand tools
• Inspect parts for quality and defects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety and production procedures
• Meet established production and quality goals
• Work effectively as part of a team

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a national background check
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Previous manufacturing or automotive experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Pay

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Monday–Friday
• Weekend work may be required depending on production needs
• Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs
• Starting pay: $15.50/hour
• Increase to $17.00/hour after 90 days, based on meeting employment requirements
