Cyber Watch Officer - 1pm - 11Pm - Wednesday - Saturday with Security Clearance

Insight Global is actively hiring a TS/SCI Cleared Junior Cyber Watch Officer to join our team supporting an 1:00pm - 11:00pm Wednesday - Saturday shift. The selected candidate will work on a team that is responsible for level one an two incident handling, triage of events, network analysis and threat detection, trend analysis, metric development, and vulnerability information dissemination.

The main responsibility will be to support the Battle Watch Captain with all Cyber Defense/Network Assurance issues as well as maintain awareness of all pertinent directives, orders, alerts, and messages; prepare and deliver daily situational awareness and operational update briefings.

Minimum job requirements include

Willingness to work Wednesday - Saturday, 1pm - 11pm onsite at Fort Meade
Active TSSCI Clearance
Bachelors Degree and 2 years of Cyber Security or Network Security experience, or NO Degree and 6 years of experience
Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) to start and must obtain CSSP-A certification within 180 days of start date. Basic to mid level CND experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization.

Requires a deep understanding and the ability to apply cyber security related principles, theories, and concepts. Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intelligence driven defense and/or Cyber Kill Chain methodology.

Plusses: Prior Military IT or IC Experience
Hands on Experience working with DoD Networks including NIPR and SIPR
Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of cybersecurity threats, attacks, attack vectors and understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this position so pay will vary based on level of experience, expertise, and depth on knowledge, but we anticipate paying 90K to 115K for these positions.
