QA Automation Engineer

Consultant must be local to Wisconsin

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and/or mobile applications using modern frameworks.
- Define and drive test automation strategy, standards, and best practices within an Agile environment.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and reliable build validation.
- Analyze test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers and product owners to resolve defects.
- Own and evolve test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for improved scalability and speed.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Lead test planning for complex features, including risk identification and defining automation coverage.
- Mentor and coach team members on automation patterns and quality best practices.
- Monitor and report on key automation metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and introduce new automation tools and frameworks to enhance effectiveness and maintainability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the job scope.

Requires a Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of SDET/test automation experience, including experience with TestComplete and Playwright.
- Strong development background in Java, C#, JavaScript, and VB Script.
- Proficient with source control tools (Git, TFS, SVN).
- Experience scripting in TestComplete (SmartBear) or similar GUI automation tools.
- Experience testing Angular web applications.
