Role Description The Principle Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Scottsdale, AZ, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of core platform services that power AdviNOW Medical’s AI and AR-driven healthcare solutions. This role oversees complex back-end systems, architects scalable and secure software, and guides technical decision-making across multiple product components. The Principle Software Engineer collaborates with product managers, data scientists, clinical stakeholders, and other engineers to translate healthcare workflows into robust, maintainable code. Daily responsibilities include hands-on coding, code reviews, mentoring team members, improving development practices, and ensuring high reliability, performance, and integration with third-party EMR and healthcare systems.\n
Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.

• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-quality applications.
\n
• Expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud-based architectures.
\n
• Deep experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns applied to large-scale systems.
\n
• Proven track record in technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural decisions.
\n
• Experience with modern development tools and practices (version control, CI/CD, automated testing, code review).
\n
• Background working with healthcare, EMR integrations, or regulated environments is highly beneficial.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team on-site.
