Position Details:

  • Location: Miami Beach, FL 33139 (Miami metro area)

  • Position Type: Full-Time Nanny, Live-Out

  • Compensation: $30–35/hr DOE

  • Pay Structure: Legal, on-the-books pay — W-2 household employment (hourly, per IRS regulations for private household employees), with tax withholding, official pay stubs, and Social Security and Medicare contributions

  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week, every week (1,200–1,400/week)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional date nights or weekends scheduled in advance

  • Overtime: Hours over 40 per week paid at 1.5x the regular rate, per federal law

  • Start Date: November 2, 2026

  • Child: 1 boy, 15 months old

  • Pets: Family dog (Bernedoodle) — no pet care required

  • Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, and 5 paid sick days

Position Overview:

Hello, Nanny!®, a boutique nanny agency, is actively seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny for a warm family in Miami Beach, FL. This full-time role caring for a sweet 15-month-old boy offers guaranteed hours, paid time off, and legal W-2 pay — a stable, professionally structured position for a career nanny who loves the toddler years.

Mom works from home, so this role is an excellent fit for a nanny who is confident caring for a child independently while a parent is working in the house. The family values a nanny who respects a parent's workday, keeps the daily routine running smoothly, and partners with them as a team on their son's needs and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare

  • Feeding and meal preparation for the child

  • Diapering and daily care routines

  • Age-appropriate developmental play and activities

  • The child's laundry

  • Tidying of play areas and the child's bedroom

  • Communicating with the family about the child's day, needs, and milestones

Transportation

  • Occasional driving may be needed; candidates should have their own reliable transportation

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional childcare experience, including toddler care

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification

  • Early childhood education background

  • Nurturing, calm, engaged, attentive, and organized

  • Collaborative with the family on the child's routines, needs, and development

  • Comfortable working independently while a parent works from home, with professional, respectful boundaries

  • Available for occasional evenings or weekends with advance notice

  • Comfortable in a home with a dog (no pet care required)

  • Reliable personal transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance

  • Complete proficiency in the English language

  • Non-smoker; this is a strictly non-smoking home

  • Willing to complete background and reference checks

  • Minimum of 3 impeccable professional childcare references
