Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing site in West Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop both technically and professionally within a market-leading business that continues to invest heavily into the site and its people.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

Either electrically or mechanically biased - electrical bias preferred.

Backgrounds considered from manufacturing, industrial, or Armed Forces REME (Army, Navy, RAF).

Comfortable working in tough industrial working environments.

Full UK driving licence.

Experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

Hands-on fault-finding experience.

Recognised engineering qualification.

Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
