Location: The Woodlands, TX
Contract: 6 months, with potential extension
Pay: $35-$40/hour

About the Role
We're seeking a Chemist to support day-to-day laboratory operations for a chemical R&D organization. This position will focus on keeping laboratory samples, analytical information, and data systems organized and accurate.
What You'll Do

• Coordinate and track laboratory samples and related information
  


• Review analytical results for completeness, accuracy, and quality
  


• Maintain and update laboratory data and records
  


• Work with LIMS and other laboratory information systems
  


• Support laboratory quality and documentation processes
  


• Partner with scientists and laboratory personnel to resolve data or sample issues
  


• Use Excel and other Microsoft Office tools for reporting and data management
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Science, or a related field
  


• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting
  


• Understanding of analytical data and laboratory quality practices
  


• Experience with LIMS or similar systems is a plus
  


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  


• Good written and verbal communication
  


• Comfortable working with Excel and Microsoft Office
  


• Chemical, petrochemical, or industrial laboratory experience is preferred
  

Note: This is an initial 6-month contract assignment with the possibility of extension. Future employment opportunities may be considered based on business needs and performance, but no conversion is guaranteed.
