Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) Specialist, Mobile | Virginia Beach, VA, United States | Hybrid
We're hiring on behalf of a globally recognized humanitarian organization renowned for its extensive reach and commitment to supporting communities worldwide. This role is integral to a mission focused on providing critical services to military members, veterans, and their families, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while advancing your career within a respected, mission-driven network. The Role
• Manage and administer the delivery of essential services to meet the needs of U.S. military members, veterans, and their families.
• Serve as the primary liaison, building strong relationships with military leadership, key organizations, and community leaders.
• Oversee volunteer engagement programs, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and management to support program delivery.
• Drive community outreach initiatives, enhancing visibility through marketing, social media, and local base advertising.
• Ensure consistent delivery of services, including support to military treatment facilities, rehabilitation programs, and family assistance.
• Manage budgets and expenditures, monitoring program outcomes and reporting on results for continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in program management or a related area.
• Strong computer, public speaking, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with military culture and willingness to undergo necessary medical and security clearances for worldwide deployment.
• Adaptability and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
