Door-to-Door Sales Representative - Telecommunications

Optimum, a leader in telecommunications, is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to grow residential and small business customers for internet, TV, mobile, and voice services. In this field-based role, you'll prospect in assigned territories, conduct door-to-door outreach, qualify customer needs, and present tailored Optimum bundles. You'll manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, follow up on inquiries, and meet or exceed monthly sales and performance targets. Success requires strong product knowledge, persuasive communication, accurate order entry, and a commitment to exceptional, customer-focused service in local communities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new residential and small business leads within assigned territories
• Conduct door-to-door outreach to promote Optimum internet, TV, mobile, and voice services
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate bundled solutions
• Present pricing, promotions, and service options clearly and persuasively
• Manage full sales cycle from lead qualification through close and order submission
• Meet or exceed monthly sales, revenue, and activity targets
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, sales, and follow-ups in CRM tools
• Provide high-quality customer service and support during and after the sale
• Stay current on Optimum products, fiber network capabilities, and competitive offerings
• Collaborate with local teams to support community events and marketing initiatives
