Job Description

About IntusCare

IntusCare is the only end-to-end ecosystem built specifically to help Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) programs deliver exceptional care, strengthen financial performance, and stay compliant. IntusCare replaces outdated technology and manual workarounds with purpose-built solutions for care coordination, risk adjustment, population health, and utilization management. IntusCare empowers teams to take control of their operations and improve outcomes for dual-eligible seniors – some of the most socially vulnerable and clinically complex individuals in the U.S. healthcare system

Role Overview
You will serve as a Tech Lead for one of three CareHub pods reporting to the VP of Engineering. You will have the opportunity to shape the architecture and technical progress of IntusCare’s newest and most impactful technology product. You will be the technical leader to an engineering pod of ~5 individual contributors and will have high agency to make changes and improvements within your pod. You will split your time between:

· Being a technical leader of CareHub (making important architecture decisions, working with other tech leads & the VPE on the technical roadmap, implementing standards and best practices)

· Being the technical leader of your pod (writing code, leading design reviews, collaborating and coaching other engineers, reviewing PRs)

· Collaboration with Product Management & UX design including breaking down user stories into technical tickets and working iteratively with design and product to make sure feature specs are technically feasible and high quality before development begins

· Working with Customer Support & Product to understand customer feedback/bugs and react appropriately

· Managing and technical coaching for members of your pod

About You

· The best candidates for this role have strong technical abilities, and a strong product mindset.

· You are comfortable making architecture decisions for a scaled web application, and are comfortable presenting your ideas and asking for input when appropriate

· You like solving problems, and you like working with others

· You enjoy learning about what you are building, and you care about delivering a high quality product for the user.

· You like working in a startup environment where your work matters (we are now 100+ FTEs).

· You view AI as an essential part of the SDLC, and you enjoy upskilling others to use it well

· You might ask questions like “What user problem are we trying to solve” or “Are we going to expand this feature later, because I might design it differently if so”.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have

· Previous experience as a tech lead, or technical team lead

· Experience scaling a web application/working on large scale production systems

· Experience with building 0 à 1 where scalability and observability matter from the beginning (at an established company, or product expansion, etc)

· Experience with FHIR/SQL/GraphQL

· Healthcare experience (or other high security industry)

Breakdown of Your Week

· 30% Architectural design, large project scaffolding, making improvements to SDLC

· 25% working with product to break down stories, working with design on new patterns, being the “voice of the engineering team” in cross functional settings

· 30% Individual contributor development work and collaboration with engineers in your pod

· 15% Manage and Coach more junior engineers on technical abilities and development

Benefits

· Competitive salary and benefits package including uncapped PTO and health insurance

· Opportunity to work with a passionate and innovative team

· Professional development and growth opportunities

· Flexible work environment
