Role Overview

We are seeking a FICO Platform Developer with hands-on experience in FICO Analytics Workbench (FAWB), Java, and Process Orchestrator (PLOR). The developer will design, build, integrate, and support decisioning applications and workflows, working closely with business analysts, architects, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•             Develop and maintain applications and components on the FICO Platform using FAWB and Java.

•             Design, configure, and maintain workflows using Process Orchestrator (PLOR), including process sequencing, routing, exception handling, and integration steps.

•             Develop Java services and reusable components to support business logic and platform integrations.

•             Integrate FICO applications with enterprise systems, external services, and databases through APIs and other interfaces.

•             Translate business and technical requirements into application designs and implementation specifications.

•             Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

•             Troubleshoot application, workflow, and integration issues across development, testing, and production environments.

•             Support deployments, release activities, and production issue resolution.

•             Maintain technical documentation, including application designs, workflow definitions, and integration specifications.

•             Participate in code reviews and follow established development, security, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

•             Hands-on development experience with the FICO Platform.

•             Practical experience with FICO Analytics Workbench (FAWB) for application development and configuration.

•             Experience designing and implementing workflows using Process Orchestrator (PLOR).

•             Strong proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, exception handling, and debugging.

•             Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON and XML.

•            Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

•             Experience with Git, build tools such as Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD practices.

•             Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

•             Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

•             Experience with decision management, business rules, or analytics-driven applications.

•             Familiarity with financial services use cases such as credit decisioning, lending, fraud detection, or risk management.

•             Experience with cloud environments, automated testing, and application monitoring.

•             Familiarity with Agile delivery practices.

•             Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
