Job Description

The Job

The Seasonal Overnight Operations Lead is responsible for owning the end-to-end execution of all overnight inventory and operational processes. This role ensures inbound shipments are processed efficiently, stockrooms are optimized, replenishment is completed accurately, and the store is set up for a seamless guest experience each morning.

As the overnight leader on duty, you will coach and direct the team, uphold safety and loss prevention standards, and ensure operational readiness before the store opens.

This is a full-time overnight leadership role that requires open, flexible availability on all nights, including weekends and peak trading periods.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead and execute overnight inbound truck processing, shipment validation, and PO accuracy.
  • Ensure productivity standards are met while maintaining accuracy and safety.
  • Oversee replenishment to the sales floor to ensure priority departments and bestsellers are guest-ready by opening.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and optimized stockrooms that support efficient product flow.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies to reduce shrink and prevent operational risk.
  • Proactively manage supplies and operational tools required for overnight execution.
  • Communicate maintenance, repair, and facility needs to appropriate partners.

Team Leadership

  • Serve as the overnight leader on duty, directing workflow and setting clear priorities.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to ensure consistent standards and accountability.
  • Train team members on operational processes, safety procedures, and inventory best practices.
  • Build engagement and foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Escalate team concerns, performance issues, or operational risks to senior leadership as needed.

Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and hazard-free working environment.
  • Ensure adherence to loss prevention, shrink mitigation, and inventory control standards.
  • Support execution of emergency action plans and overnight security protocols.
  • Model safe lifting practices and equipment usage at all times.

Store Readiness

  • Ensure the store is fully replenished, recovery is complete, and operational standards are met before opening.
  • Partner closely with daytime leaders to ensure seamless handoff between overnight and opening teams.
  • Identify process improvements to drive greater efficiency, accuracy, and team productivity

This role aligns with Level M3 in our Career Framework and reflects first-line leadership responsibility, subject-matter expertise across the sales floor and experience areas, and growing ownership of team performance and delivery. It provides a strong foundation for progression into Assistant Manager roles (Level M4).

You don't need to be perfect, but you do need to believe that no moment is too small to be extraordinary.

  • 2+ years of experience in an operations supervisory or lead role within a fast-paced retail or experience-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipment processing, and shrink mitigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize workload, and drive accountability.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret reporting and use data to inform operational decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
  • Experience with POS and inventory management systems preferred.
  • Open and flexible overnight availability required across all nights, including weekends and peak periods.

Experience in experiential, flagship, or performance-based environments is a strong plus. A love of play is non-negotiable.

  • $27.00 - $29.00/hr + Store Incentive Bonus
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision coverage
  • Employee discounts
  • Pre-Tax Commuter Benefits
  • Retirement Plan (401k + Match)
  • Paid Vacation + paid company holidays
  • Paid + Unpaid sick time
