The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for loading and unloading shipping containers. • Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Stack, move, and organize containers accurately and safely. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars. • Pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening.
