The Opportunity:
StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier company in managing the search for an exceptional Data Architect. In this high-impact permanent role, you will spearhead the evolution of enterprise-wide data frameworks, ensuring our client’s technological infrastructure matches their long-term strategic ambitions. Operating with flexibility (remote with occasional travel to Orlando, Florida), this position requires citizenship to comply with federal government contract mandates. What You’ll Do:
Architect enterprise data frameworks, ensuring seamless alignment between core operational needs, broader technical strategies, and organizational goals.
Construct conceptual, logical, and physical blueprints that empower modern analytics platforms, warehouses, and lakehouse environments.
Engine scalable data pipelines, enterprise integration workflows, and modern cloud storage structures.
Establish robust data governance policies, operational benchmarks, and industry best practices organization-wide.
Evaluate emerging cloud platforms, next-generation data tools, and modern infrastructure to maximize ecosystem reliability and processing velocity.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, application development, and infrastructure divisions to maintain cohesive multi-platform designs.
Define rigorous standards for master data management, metadata tracking, and data lineage alongside security divisions.
Safeguard corporate information assets by enforcing strict data quality controls, consistency checks, and comprehensive asset security.
Translate complex business requirements from executive leaders and analysts into robust technical frameworks.
Provide expert architectural oversight throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from initial testing to production deployment.
Optimize database performance, storage scalability, and operational cost-efficiency across both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
Conduct regular architecture audits, systemic reviews, and targeted refactoring to elevate the overall maturity of the data ecosystem.
What You Bring:
Execute hands-on Software Development and Programming workflows alongside high-level system design.
Demonstrate a robust Software Engineering Background spanning over 5 Years of practical implementation leading into technical leadership or architectural roles.
Leverage deep expertise in Data Integration Patterns, large-scale Data Movement, and transformation methodologies.
Deploy Streaming and Event-Driven Architecture models utilizing platforms like Kafka and asynchronous queue-based integration patterns.
Design modern Data Lake Architecture pipelines ingesting complex information from diverse enterprise and external third-party origins.
Mentor engineering squads on Technical Leadership, design patterns, and critical integration decisions.
Integrate diverse corporate systems, application programming interfaces (APIs), and data sources while prioritizing security and reliability.
Apply a strategic Architecture Mindset to evaluate technical alternatives, articulate tradeoffs, and steer engineering groups toward optimal designs.
Communicate intricate technical concepts clearly to both engineering professionals and executive stakeholders.
Master SQL and NoSQL Database Technologies alongside modern data storage architectures.
Build cloud-hosted solutions utilizing Cloud Data Platforms, with primary focus on the Azure Ecosystem.
Utilize advanced Data Modeling Methodologies and diagramming tools.
Implement ETL/ELT Pipelines and enterprise data integration frameworks.
Navigate modern data warehouse frameworks, including Lakehouse Patterns.
Utilize advanced analytics systems such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, and Cosmos DB.
Connect real-time data streams utilizing Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
Support AI/ML Data Pipelines and Feature Store Architectures for advanced machine learning workloads.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Lineage Tracking, and Data Quality Frameworks.
Hold preferred qualifications including Azure Data Engineer or Azure Data Architect certifications, alongside a C# .Net Development background.
Compensation & Total Rewards:
Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 / annually.
