Job description

Senior Performance Test Engineer / Performance Engineer

Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer / Performance Engineer with 12+ years of experience in performance engineering, application performance monitoring, cloud environments, and distributed/microservices architectures. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct end-to-end performance analysis, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and design and execute various performance tests.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end performance analysis across applications, databases, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, JFR, and YourKit.
  • Perform JVM tuning, analysis, thread analysis, database query optimization, caching, and microservices performance optimization.
  • Design and execute Load, Stress, Soak, Endurance, and Scalability testing.
  • Develop performance test scripts using JMeter, K6, and Gatling.
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for scalability, reliability, and user experience.
  • Build dashboards and observability solutions using tools such as AppDynamics, Quantum Metric, ELK, and Grafana.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of Performance Testing / Performance Engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in APM & RUM – AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog
  • Hands-on experience with AWS & Azure
  • AWS services: ECS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, ALB
  • Strong SQL/NoSQL database performance tuning experience
  • Distributed caching and data-access optimization
  • Core Web Vitals, browser performance, web rendering & CDN optimization
  • Frontend performance analysis using Lighthouse & Chrome DevTools
  • Performance automation with JMeter, K6 & Gatling
  • Strong observability and dashboarding experience with AppDynamics, Quantum Metric, ELK & Grafana
  • Experience with cloud-native, distributed and microservices-based applications

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of Performance Monitoring tools
