This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology within a dynamic and high-impact environment. **The Role** • Identify and remediate firewall and load balancer misconfigurations, security gaps, and optimize rule-sets. • Provide Tier 3 support for network operations and administrations. • Maintain all hardware and software components at vendor-supported levels. • Support mission-critical Continuity of Operations (COOP). • Conduct regular assessments of firewalls and generate improvement recommendations. • Develop and participate in After Action Reports (AARs). • Provide expert advice on the management and operation of Palo Alto devices. • Evaluate current technologies and processes to identify gaps and strategize for future cybersecurity operations. **What You'll Need** • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of directly relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. • 5+ years of hands-on Cisco / Palo Alto Firewall experience in engineering and operational roles. • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto concepts and best practices, including Panorama, IPSec VPNs, and firewall HA. • Experience working in a high-tempo, Top Secret environment. • Active DOD Top Secret level security clearance, eligible for TS/SCI. • Willingness to take and maintain a CI/Poly. • 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification. **What's On Offer** • Competitive salary range of $92,300.00 - $166,850.00. • Opportunity to work on advanced cybersecurity technologies with a prominent government contractor. • Focus on professional growth within a mission-critical program. • Comprehensive benefits package including health, wellness, and retirement programs.
