Job description

Position : SharePoint Online Developer
Location : Arlington, VA
Clearance: Secret
Client: MyNavy HR SharePoint Online Development & Configuration

  • Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online (M365) sites, hub sites, libraries, lists, pages, and web parts
  • Implement standardized site structures, navigation, metadata, and content organization
  • Support SharePoint Online site provisioning, redesigns, and content reorganization
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint Online performance, access, and usability issues
  • Maintain and improve collaboration spaces aligned to enterprise governance standards

Power Platform Automation & Integration
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows (approvals, notifications, routing, lifecycle management)
  • Build Power Apps (Canvas) for forms, intake, tracking, and lightweight operational tools
  • Integrate SharePoint Online with Power BI dashboards and reporting artifacts as required
  • Reduce manual processes through automation while preserving auditability and compliance

Access Governance, Compliance & Security
  • Process and manage SharePoint Online access requests, permissions, and role based controls
  • Enforce site governance, lifecycle management, and acceptable use standards
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, DON, and N16 security and data handling requirements
  • Support Section 508 / WCAG accessibility compliance for SharePoint content and applications
  • Coordinate with Cyber and Risk teams on operational security posture and compliance needs

Operational Support & User Enablement
  • Provide Tier 2/3 SharePoint Online support for business users and site owners
  • Support SPO operational tasks including site reviews, audits, and governance checks
  • Develop user guides, job aids, SOPs, and training materials
  • Translate functional business requirements into SharePoint Online solutions
  • Support leadership collaboration needs during high tempo operations

Enterprise Integration & Coordination
  • Coordinate with PMO, CIO/IT, Cyber, Risk, Enterprise Ops, Data Automation, and Front Office teams
  • Align SharePoint Online solutions to enterprise governance decisions and modernization efforts
  • Participate in SPO planning, prioritization, and continuous process improvement activities
  • Support leadership visibility by ensuring SharePoint environments are reliable and auditable

Required Qualifications
  • Hands on experience with SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) configuration and administration
  • Strong experience with Power Platform: o Power Automate o Power Apps (Canvas) o Power BI (integration/support)
  • Experience managing SharePoint Online permissions, security groups, and access governance
  • Experience supporting enterprise scale SharePoint Online environments
  • Ability to operate in DoD / Federal IT environments
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a mission driven, high tempo environment

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with SharePoint Online migrations and content modernization
  • Familiarity with JSON, Power Apps formulas, Power Automate expressions
  • Experience supporting workflow governance and automation standards
  • Familiarity with RMF coordination or cyber compliance support
  • Experience supporting MyNavy HR, OPNAV, DON, or Navy enterprise environments
  • Microsoft certifications (PL 900, PL 400, M365 Fundamentals)
  • Active or eligible Security Clearance (Secret minimum; TS/SCI preferred depending on billet)
