Overview

We are seeking a interested in Data Analytics, Inventory Management, Business Analytics, or Information Systems to gain hands-on experience working with an inventory management system and real-world retail data.

Duties

• Learn and work with the company's Inventory Management System.
• Enter, organize, and maintain inventory data under supervision.
• Learn how inventory is tracked from purchasing through sales.
• Analyze product movement and identify fast- and slow-moving items.
• Compare inventory levels with sales activity.
• Assist with identifying inventory discrepancies and data errors.
• Generate basic inventory and sales reports from the system.
• Analyze inventory trends and prepare Excel reports.
• Learn how data can be used to improve purchasing and inventory decisions.
• Assist with developing basic dashboards and data summaries.
• Participate in educational projects involving inventory optimization and retail analytics.
• Document system processes and create simple reference guides.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Basic Excel or Google Sheets knowledge.
• Strong interest in inventory systems and data analysis.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Willingness to learn new software and business systems.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Must have valid authorization to work in the United States.
