Cyber Systems Security Engineer with Security Clearance

Provide cyber systems security engineering support for classified information systems on a satellite sustainment program. Work directly with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to keep systems compliant with the Risk Management Framework (RMF). 100% on-site, 9/80 schedule. Responsibilities Ensure information systems meet RMF standards in coordination with the ISSM/ISSO.

Prepare, maintain, and submit RMF artifacts, including hardware/software baselines, Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) documentation, and network diagrams. Apply STIGs, perform trusted downloads, and maintain RMF compliance in line with DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG) requirements and corporate policy. Support continuous monitoring tools such as Qmulos, Splunk, ACAS/Nessus, and Trellix Endpoint Security. Work with fellow security engineers, mission systems engineers, and ISSM/ISSO teams to prioritize cyber findings and recommend engineering remediations.

Support system changes through change-management tools and keep asset inventories current. Lead technical best-practice discussions, mentor peers, and coordinate with functional teams. Participate in Agile/Jira planning sessions to scope and schedule cyber engineering tasks.
