Oberarzt (m/w/d) Gastroenterologie | Schleswig, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany | On-site We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated specialist for a leading hospital group in Schleswig-Holstein known for its comprehensive patient care and medical innovation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a central hub for specialized medical services within the region, with a strong focus on advanced treatments and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Role • Provide comprehensive specialized care for both inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology patients. • Independently perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and endosonography. • Oversee ward management, guide treatment cases, and collaborate across departments. • Supervise junior physicians and actively participate in medical education and training. • Engage in strategic development of medical concepts, clinical pathways, and quality standards. • Participate in on-call and backup services. What You'll Need • Board certification in Internal Medicine; a specialization in Gastroenterology is advantageous. • Proven experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, with knowledge or willingness to train in endosonography and ERCP. • Proficiency with clinical information systems (KIS) for documentation, patient management, and coding. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions. • Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Interest in medical process development, quality assurance, and physician training.
