Title: Mechanical Construction Manager                                                                   

Location: Corpus Christi, TX (Must be onsite!)

Duration: 1 year with possible extensions

Start Date: Nov 2nd, 9th or 16th or early Dec.

Work Schedule: 40hrs with possible O.T

Background Check/Drug Screen: Required (TWICE Card Required)

Project Details:

•      Refinery client's Construction Services team is considering shaping this role into a fabrication manager position.

•      Manage two projects at a time, with one in fabrication or execution and the other in front-end loading.

•      Oversee offsite fabrication, including quality, schedule, and coordination with the fabrication yard (possible time at the yard).

•      Lead projects through the stage-gate process (PMG) from front-end loading into execution.

•      Monitor cost, schedule, and scope using earned value, and report progress to project leadership.

•      Coach the field execution team on construction management practices.

Musts:

•      Construction management experience in a refinery (oil and gas or heavy industrial may be considered).

•      Offsite fabrication oversight experience.

•      Strong mechanical construction background, with hands-on experience managing mechanical scopes in a process facility.

•      Working knowledge of stage-gate project delivery (PMG).

•      Valid TWIC card.

•      Must be onsite in Corpus Christi, TX.

Pluses:

•      Earned value management experience and a willingness to train others.

•      Turnaround experience (helpful but not required).
