Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection system design. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and possess a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license. This role requires a minimum of 6+ years of experience in building systems design, along with strong proficiency in Revit for developing and coordinating engineering designs. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical design solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
  2. Prepare and review mechanical design drawings, layouts, and specifications using Revit and other design tools.
  3. Ensure all designs comply with local codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing for HVAC and plumbing systems.
  5. Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated project delivery.
  6. Review project documentation and provide technical guidance during design and construction phases.
  7. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify installation and resolve technical issues.
  8. Maintain accurate engineering documentation, reports, and project records.
  9. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff when required.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Minimum 6+ years of experience in HVAC Design, Plumbing Design and Fire Protection System Design
  3. Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  4. Strong experience in Revit.
