Position: AS400 Synon Techno-Functional Consultant

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced AS400 Techno-Functional Consultant with strong Synon expertise.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into AS400/iSeries solutions.
• Provide functional analysis, application support, development, enhancement, and troubleshooting for legacy AS400 applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Synon, RPG/RPGLE, DB2/400, and CL/CLLE.
• Analyze existing applications, identify issues, and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering, impact analysis, design, testing, and production support.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand processes and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Support application enhancements, defect resolution, and ongoing maintenance.
• Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, or insurance applications is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
