Quick overview
Job description
For 36 years, we have been helping companies grow. It is a path that we know well. When Radius started its business in 1990, it was running a successful fuel SME in the North West of England. Today, we are a global business services company operating in 19 countries on five continents.
Our mission is to help businesses of all sizes adapt to market changes and take advantage of the opportunities that come with them.
We differentiate ourselves by our ability to provide SMBs with fleet and connectivity products and services in a single solution, as well as customized solutions for enterprise-level businesses.
As a Business Insurance Specialist on our Back Book team, you’ll sell business insurance compliantly to existing commercial clients. You’ll own your target and look after each client’s needs throughout the first 12 months of their insurance. Done well, clients renew, take on additional cover and stay with us.
Most of your week will be spent speaking with clients by phone and email: retaining existing policies, upselling and cross-selling additional products, and handling mid-term adjustments. You’ll manage client accounts end to end, including arranging finance through third-party partners and dealing with post from clients and insurers. You’ll work with colleagues and insurers, de-escalate complaints, put corrective measures in place and support the wider commercial team where needed.
Your daily responsibilities will be...
