Support Worker | Thornton, England, United Kingdom | Hybrid
We're hiring for a leading health and social care provider with over 300 locations across England, dedicated to improving lives through innovative and person-centred support. The Role
• Support individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs in a 24-hour residential setting.
• Assist residents with a full range of daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, and managing personal budgets.
• Develop residents' life skills, personal interests, and promote their independence.
• Facilitate engaging activities within the home and local community.
• Provide essential personal care, manual handling, and medication support.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and contribute to service monitoring.
What You'll Need
• A caring, passionate, and enthusiastic nature.
• Flexibility, patience, and a non-judgemental approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including manual handling.
• Experience in helping individuals manage anxiety is beneficial.
• A driver's license is preferred.
