The Role

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive specialized yard equipment to position containers and chassis.
• Utilize loading equipment to stack, move, and organize containers.
• Conduct pre- and post-use equipment inspections to ensure safety.
• Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics/industrial environment is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
