Senior Application Developer – Foundational Services with Security Clearance

We're seeking a Senior Application Developer to serve as a Foundational Services SME supporting mission applications and foundational services for the DIA, while helping mentor mid-level developers. You'll work across the application stack, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the foundational services that keep mission systems operating effectively. What You'll Work With

• TypeScript and Angular
• Node.js, NestJS, and Express
• Jest
• MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
• GitLab CI Pipelines
• Docker and OpenShift Key Experience
• Classification and need-to-know handling
• Cross-domain transfer processes
• Application troubleshooting
• Server logs and console analysis What You'll Bring
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor's degree at minimum; a Master's degree is preferred
• Node.js with TypeScript
• SQL/PostgreSQL
• Redis
• Elasticsearch
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred. For the right candidate, an active TS/SCI without a CI Poly may be sufficient. Candidates with Poly credentials will be prioritized.
• Experience with JSON, Java, JavaScript, SharePoint, XML, VBA, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, and OpenAI/AI technologies is highly desired Location This is a hybrid position with SCIF support at DIA HQ in Washington, DC, Reston, VA, or College Park, MD. A recent CI Poly is preferred, and an immediate start may be possible. Use your depth of application development experience to strengthen the foundational services behind mission applications.
