Job description

Software Engineering Director / Head of Software Engineering / Software Engineering Leader / Transformation / Platform Engineering / Enterprise Level / Team Management / Agile / SAFe / PI Planning / Product based Model / Regulated sector; Financial Services / Utilities / Hybrid Warwickshire / Remote / £800-1,100 per day, Inside IR35, 12-month contract.

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Software Engineering Director / Head of Software Engineering / Software Delivery Director.

Location – Hybrid Warwickshire / Remote – with approx. 1 day per week onsite

Duration – 12 months +

Day rate – £800 – 1,100 per day Inside IR35

Experience:

  • Senior Delivery lead experience within Software Engineering
  • Experience of embedding new ways of working / change within Software Engineering / Software Development Teams – enterprise level i.e. 20 + Teams / 100+ staff onshore and offshore
  • Leading and coaching development teams in their transition to a full service product model, People leadership, talent growth and coaching, hands on management / leadership
  • Regulated sector experience in large scale Financial Services, Bank, Banking, Insurance, Life & Pensions, Utilities, Power, Energy, Gas, Electricity etc
  • DevSec Ops, CI/CD and automation and platform engineering
  • Pipeline automation

Desirable:

  • Agile / SAFe / PI Planning / Program Increment Planning / Scaled Agile Framework
  • Background in Software Engineering / Software Development / SDLC
