Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and direction to business partners, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review, debug, and improve code written by others
• Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and engineering processes
• Establish validation standards for AI-assisted outputs including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing
• Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate for firmwide frameworks and SDLC practices
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes

• Advanced Java programming capability
• Kafka and microservices architecture
• Cloud-native development and design
• Kubernetes-based containerized application delivery
• CI/CD and SDLC automation proficiency
• Agile methodologies and application resiliency
• In-depth knowledge of financial services / banking technology systems
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development practices

 

Preferred Skills

• Co-Pilot experience
• AWS Solution Architect certification
• Spring Boot familiarity

 

Location & Work Model

Jersey City, NJ — 5 Days Onsite. Day 1 onsite start required. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate prior to start.

Contract engagement. Candidates must have hands-on coding experience and must be open to a coding assessment. Banking domain experience is required
