Job Description
Who we are
Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.
As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.
What you will be doing
As Marketing Ops Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone of Neros’ Marketing team. You’ll run the project management platform, timelines, and cross-functional coordination that enable the team to execute content shoots, product launches, integrated marketing campaigns, media engagements, and more.
You will be the connector and convener of people and work streams, and package and share updates with leadership across the company. You’ll get to propose, implement, and iterate on the Marketing org’s project management philosophy and execution.
This is a builder-operator role for someone with 3–5 years experience in a fast-moving startup environments who wants to make an outsized impact (and accepts the outsized responsibility that comes with that). Your presence should improve both the quality and velocity of the work you project manage.
Responsibilities
Own the Marketing org’s project management platform at the systems, process, and execution level
(Cheerfully, aggressively) enforce adoption and adherence to these systems and process flows
Implement a cadence of communications, both synchronous and asynchronous, to keep cross-functional stakeholders across Business Development, Mission Success, Gov’t Affairs, Engineering, Flight Test, and Legal informed of Marketing initiatives
Proactively package and present org-wide status updates to senior leadership
Surface and facilitate the resolution of risks and blockers for Marketing campaigns and initiatives
Own delivery of post mortems and retrospectives
You should have the following
3-5 years experience in marketing ops/ program management/ project management, preferably in defense, aerospace, robotics, tech, or hardware industries
Systems-level thinking skills as it relates to both inter and intra-organizational process and communication
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate project management
A love of sitting in the middle of all things, being the connective tissue, and colliding team members to find creative solutions
US Salary Range
$76,500 – $107,500 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
