Forward Deployed Engineer / Remote / FinTech

An innovative financial technology organization is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to help transform banking technology for some of the largest financial institutions in the world. This full-time opportunity combines software engineering, solution architecture, cloud technologies, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will bring experience building distributed applications using technologies such as Go, Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, and modern cloud platforms.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical depth and business impact. Rather than operating behind the scenes, this engineer will work directly with customer stakeholders, influence architectural decisions, and build solutions that become part of mission-critical banking environments. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and deploying production applications
• Strong programming experience with Go, Java, or comparable languages
• Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
• Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience designing distributed systems
• Customer-facing or stakeholder-facing experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience gathering ambiguous requirements and translating them into solutions

• Financial services or banking experience
• Core banking systems exposure
• Kubernetes or OpenShift experience
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience
• High-throughput data pipeline development
