Absolute Clean and Restoration is a locally owned and operated restoration company providing water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, and emergency services. We are known for fast response, honest communication, and high-quality workmanship. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Estimator / Sales Representative to join our team.
Job Summary
The Estimator / Sales Representative is responsible for inspecting loss sites, writing accurate estimates, working with insurance carriers and adjusters, and closing jobs. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently explain the restoration process to homeowners, property managers, and insurance professionals.
Responsibilities
- Respond to water, mold, and fire loss calls to inspect residential and commercial properties
- Scope losses accurately and write estimates using industry-standard software (Xactimate)
- Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the job
- Explain the restoration process, timelines, and coverage in a clear and professional manner
- Write Estimates for the Rebuild of the projects.
- Secure signed work authorizations and move jobs from estimate to production
- Work closely with technicians and project managers to ensure proper job execution
- Track job progress and follow up on approvals, supplements, and payments
- Identify upsell opportunities where appropriate (mold testing, rebuild, additional services)
- Maintain accurate documentation, photos, and job notes
- Represent Absolute Clean and Restoration professionally at all times
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position with flexible scheduling
- On-call or after-hours response may be required
- Work performed in residential and commercial environments
Qualifications
- Construction Management degree or 5 years of experience in the restoration industry or construction industry.
- 2 years of experience with Xactimate.
- Experience using smartphones for field-based work.
- Knowledge of water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire and smoke restoration.
- Knowledge of rebuild estimating.
- Experience navigating insurance claims and supplements.
- Experience working with insurance adjusters and homeowners.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Available for on-call duty 1 time per month to manage phones and set up job scopes.
- Experience using Encircle software is a plus.
- WRT certification is a plus.
