They are hiring for a Controller to lead financial operations at one of their many community hospitals, driving financial success and contributing to the overall well-being of the facility with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative team. The Role • Direct and oversee the hospital's accounting system and financial operations, including billing, AR, cash receipts, collections, AP, payroll, GL, forecasting, and budgeting. • Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and required state financial reports. • Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency as requested by hospital leadership and corporate office. • Monitor compliance with Medicare regulations. • Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as needed. • Manage and mentor the accounting and financial team. What You'll Need • Bachelor's Degree required (MBA preferred). • Minimum five years of hospital accounting experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of financial management and analysis principles, as well as managerial skills. • Proven experience in financial management and operations, including labor management, revenue analysis, expense management, and contract negotiation. • Relevant experience in budgeting, both capital and operational planning. • Experience in creating and executing a strong internal control environment.
