D&L LLC is an industrial HVAC, mechanical, and sheet metal contractor serving manufacturing, commercial, and mission-critical facilities across the Southeast. Our work spans maintenance, service, construction, shutdown support, and engineered solutions, helping customers keep essential systems operating safely and efficiently.
As an Industrial HVAC Service Technician, you will play an important role in supporting customers' day-to-day operations by keeping commercial and industrial HVAC equipment running reliably. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, takes pride in quality workmanship, and brings a responsive, service-oriented approach to field work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues across HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls and complete troubleshooting in a timely manner.
- Follow safety standards while servicing, inspecting, and testing HVAC units.
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC equipment.
- Experience reading wiring diagrams for HVAC service diagnostics.
- Experience using meters for HVAC service diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, mini splits, and package units.
- Experience following HVAC service safety standards.
- Ability to work responsively with plant maintenance teams on service calls is a plus.
- Hands-on experience servicing chillers, air handlers, and air systems is a plus.
- Experience with general building automation controls, including systems such as Trane, Carrier, and York, is a plus.
- EPA Universal License
- Valid Driver's License
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Competitive salary of 58,000-84,000 USD/year
