Production Engineer

Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking to join a manufacturing company based in Aston, Birmingham? You will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. As a Production Engineer you will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, looking at route cause analysis, pushing important problems for review and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. As a Production Engineer your role will involve:<br />* Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.<br />* Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components

• Train and mentor production staff on new processes and techniques. Support Engineering technician<br />* Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and action accordingly.<br />* Plan and schedule production activities
• Conduct regular inspections and audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.<br />* Design, troubleshoot, and optimise production machinery and equipment. Hours of work: Monday to Friday Core hours being 8-4pm (with flexibility on start and finish times, ensuring weekly hours are met) Suitable Candidates:<br />* Apprentice trained (NVQ3) or and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical role<br />* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems<br />* Strong communication and interpersonal skills<br />* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software<br />* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards If you are interested in the above role, APPLY NOW via the job board
