About the Role
Lead a team of approximately five Account Executives in a greenfield DACH market for an industrial procurement technology business. This hands-on role combines individual sales ownership with team coaching and go-to-market development, helping industrial customers improve procurement outcomes.
What You'll Do
Own a customer segment and lead the team to achieve revenue goals.
Manage a personal sales quota while coaching Account Executives to meet collective targets.
Work with sales leadership to shape and execute go-to-market strategy for a greenfield market.
Support customers in reducing procurement costs, managing supply chain risks, and meeting regulatory needs.
Develop team performance through structured training, deal support, and performance management.
Join key customer conversations to guide deal strategy, negotiations, and business case development.
Coach the team on MEDDIC and use pipeline reviews, metrics, and action plans to improve sales performance.
Identify practical AI workflows that can help the sales team work more effectively.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of Account Executive experience in B2B SaaS, including complex, non-transactional sales.
At least 1 year of sales leadership experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment.
A consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience coaching a sales team of around five, including hands-on deal support and performance management.
Experience contributing to go-to-market strategy in a greenfield market.
Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
Fluency in German and English; experience with industrial customers or procurement technology is a plus.
