Job Description

FULL STACK DEVELOPER ENGINEER Transform technology into opportunity as a Full Stack Engineer at GDIT. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Full Stack Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of mission critical customer. You will play a crucial role in the development of a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products.

Efforts will include creating enhancements for the tool based on high-priority mission needs, as well as maintenance/sustainment of the existing code base. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Full Stack Engineer Principal must have: • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

  • Experience: 8+ years of related experience • Security clearance level: TS/SCI W/ Poly
  • US citizenship required • Required technical skills include
  • Java 8+
  • C/C++
  • Scripting (python, bash, php)
  • Apache Tomcat
  • Elasticsearch
  • Oracle
  • Spring Boot
  • RESTful web services
  • Solr
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment
  • Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications • Additional desired technical skills may include experience with :
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Primefaces
  • Quarkus
  • Node.js
  • Lex/Yacc
  • Basic sysadmin skills (managing cron jobs, selinux, etc.)
  • Agency reporting and dissemination tools
  • Agency classification policies
  • Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.
